-Friday Evening and Night:
A cloudy and muggy evening with drizzle, rain and the occasional heavier burst. All should clear through the evening to a dry end to the night. Minimum temperature 14 °C.
Saturday:
A cloudy day but with a few bright or sunny spells. There may be a few scattered showers during the day but most of the time it should stay dry. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Rather unsettled with further showery rain around on Sunday and Monday and only a few bright or sunny spells. Tuesday starts dry but with some rain later.
UK Outlook for Wednesday 4 Aug 2010 to Friday 13 Aug 2010:
This period continues to be characterised by fairly changeable weather. Much of the UK will see some rain or showers at first, with a tendency for the focus of any wet weather to shift further to the north towards the end of next week. Southern and especially southeastern parts of the UK are likely to see the best of any dry and sunny weather, as well as areas to the east of high ground. Winds should be generally light or moderate, though stronger at times in western and northern areas, particularly around coasts and hills. Temperatures on the whole look to be around average, though tempered in any persistent rain, and possibly becoming rather warm across the south of the UK towards the end of next week.
UK Outlook for Saturday 14 Aug 2010 to Saturday 28 Aug 2010:
This period looks to be characterised by a weakly changeable type, but with higher pressure towards the south of the UK. Rainfall amounts look to be on the whole, around average, with the greatest chance of seeing any prolonged rain for western and more especially northwestern areas of the UK. For many, temperatures and sunshine amounts also look to be at or slightly above the seasonal normal, although possibly becoming very warm at times across southern England.-
